Went here for drinks on a Friday night with a friend. We got some red wine which I thoroughly enjoyed. We sat at the high tables near the bar area and even though their kitchen was closing, they let us order some nachos. I don’t know if we were already so happy-go-lucky from drinking all evening but those nachos were BOMB. The vibes of this place are very cool, the wooden accents everywhere and dim lighting made me think it would be a chill place for a date. Then I looked around and realized there were a lot of couples in the bench areas(lol) but also lots of people with their friends having a great time around us. A good mix of people! Would come again.

This has to be my favourite Friday night pub. I have been there three times in the last month and the staff now know what I and my friends will likely want to order, they epitomise fast friendly service. We have often packed out the bar with a spontaneous office party and have been catered for with a smile, when tables become free the staff will let us know and sit us down. The food that I have sampled is delicious, just what you want for a night of drinking away the week’s woes. The customers here are always good for eye candy(sorry if you come when my office packs out the bar, we really lower the standards) but the bar staff really set the standard.

Well, we’ve been waiting to get the waiting staff attention for like 40 min. Then another 0.5 h to get our drinks and maybe 40 minutes more to get the actual lunch. They serve mediocre burgers. Go for the daily special. But better do not go there at all.

As a grade A man eater, I long for these sort of places. We’re Everyman looks like they just walked out of a burton catalog and have the rich aroma and a liberal dose of Lynx Africa. Friday nights are defiantly My favourite.Fact. as soon as the offices shut down for the weekend it’s open season and mumma’s always hungry. This is my savanna and I’m top of the food chain. For most men after 11 o clock and a few strong drinks they will chose any port in a storm and I’m always more then accommodating for these fine young gents.

The day has finally arrived; I’m about to pop my review ‘cherry’. Drum roll, please… So, I don’t really like this place. It’s overpriced and dark and the stairs down to the toilets are harder to navigate than a moon landing after you’ve had a crème de menthe or two. Yet I have a soft spot for this place due to the fact that I used to work near it, so pretty much every Friday for the past 18 months has been spent, or started off here. The food is alright as pub food goes. The nachos are a god-sent. You can literally feel your thighs getting fatter as you eat them

So, I hate the union. However I have spent some amazing nights with some of my favourite people in the world. When I say some nights I mean every Friday for the last 20 months. I have been thrown out before for shouting brap, brap, BRAPP. Though the manager saw the funny side and let me back in the following Friday. Which gains him a star, and a shot of sambuca. The beers rubbish but pours nicely so they definitely look after the cellar and regularly clean the pipes etc. Nice one. Overall it’s alright, though I’m still waiting for the bar women’s phone number — if you’re reading hurry up. Yes boy

Came here on a Friday night after a particularly grueling week. Great local place, great drinks, and great starters. Also, a great place to people watch!

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. But, that is ok as I tend to like empty! No shouting or waiting for a table, service or the bill. We ordered the fish and chips which came on a chopping board. My mother telling me to not play with my food on this occasion would have left me being told off for not eating my peas. Because it is served on a flat surface(peas in a little bowl), you had to play ‘chase the peas’ as they rolled off the board unless you could get to them first! Can you stab them with your fork before they escape or, my trick was to try and get them to stick to the tartare sauce. The battered fish was a little greasy and not sure if made from fresh as mine looked duplicate of my dining companions. All in all though, OK food, have seen this venue very busy at lunch tiimes so know it is popular generally and probably a nice place to go in the evenings with plenty of seating in side and some outside also. Service was friendly and prompt.

Went to this bar and restaurant for a bit of lunch, I had the burger with cheese, tomoato, lettuce, crispy bacon, red onions(originally caramelized, I’ll get to that.) and rough cut chips. Loved every bite. Now I’m fussy with what I have on my burgers. So I asked them to take off the mayo(Yes I don’t like mayo shoot me!) and changed the caramelized onions with red onions. Which they did with no fuss at all. The venue itself, is fantastic, looks appealing and the leather sofas, so damn comfy. When the food came, it was prepared very nicely on a wooden board, with everything set out with space to spare on this shaped wooden board. It was delicious, I cannot stress that enough. I loved it, and it wasn’t horribly pricey for the meal either. The staff, friendly and chatty, also were up for joking about, which you want from not only bar staff, but all staff in general.
