We didn’t end up making a purchase from here, though I wish that wasn’t the case. The shop is small, but the workers really tailor everything to your needs. There are a lot of in-​store examples of optional adornments that will give you an idea of what you can do to make a piece «your own» and the quality was very high. Admittingly a little pricey for some of the items that you can get at other places with similar aesthetic, but if I had the money I would run back here in a heartbeat. I think ultimately you’ll end up with a better end-​product here than from a Heals or something else. If you’re looking for a truly customized experience with exceptional sales staff, do pop in and give them a comparison.

The Urban Living shop at Martin Barnett is crammed with furniture of all sorts. It’s no habitat or Conran in terms of a showroom but that’s okay as when I shop at those mega stores, I always feel they’re bit impersonal and the customer is only as valuable as the money they’re prepared to spend.
Shopping at Urban Living is a lot more tailored to the individual’s needs. If you can afford higher than Ikea, it’s a good idea to stop here. Not only do they source furniture worldwide but they also have workshop that make and upholster sofas.
