I didn’t eat their kebab, but got their Cod & Chips. The cod & chips was fairly cheap, less than 5 pounds I believe. But not worth it.
It’s just one piece of fish, probably fried from frozen. Nothing was spectacular about the taste of the fish nor of the chips. The chips were quite disappointing. I’ve had better chips from frozen. Sauces were disappointing as well. I think there was mayo, but no tartar sauce sadly.
Service was good though. One of my friends still had not arrived when we ordered, so they were willing to keep my friend’s food warm behind the counter while we waited for him to come.
I’d try the kebab… but I think it’s too expensive at 6 pounds.

When I moved to Elephant and Castle the landlord assured me that this is the best kebab house on walworth road. Now I’m not a fan of a donner, so I get chicken kebabs from here, or chips, but I can’t rate their donners! I think It is great value and the staff are friendly and chat to you while to wait. It is open late so you can get some food on the way back from a night out. They have quite a range of options including veggie options and halal options.
