After leaving a nearby pub, my friend and I stumbled into Euston thinking we could find warm food. West Cornwall Pasty seemed the best choice, and we realized in two bites that we were wrong. I had the Chicken Balti, and she had the Lamb & Mint. Disgusting would be the best word. Where was the swede? Where was the pepper? The fillings just tasted… bland. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Okay, I am American so I haven’t tried THAT many pasties, but this was the best from the roughly 4 weeks I have spent in England in the last few years. On the rare, cool and cloudy days here in California, I really miss London and the taste of West Cornwall Pasty. Sigh.
