West End Flooring

Worst service provider I have experienced in 8 years living in London. The owner, a guy named Sammy, promised high quality work sanding staining, and restoring the original herringbone pine floors in my flat. The contract (also stated on his website) said he’d provide a dustfree, high quality service, and a range of aftercare products would be included in the price.
What I got instead was a demand for «cash only» (so he doesn’t have to declare it on his taxes?), a splotchy colored floor (which he blamed on cat urine!) holes/​gaps in the floor not filled in (as promised and as paid for), no after care products despite numerous follow-​up phone calls to remind him, floor stain spilled onto the windowsill staining it, my Calvin Klein bathtowel gone missing (his workers took it home with their stuff) and more dust than an Iraqi desert in a windstorm. Seriously, it took two days of hoovering and cleaning to clean up after his «dust free» service.
Sammy is a big namedropper (claims to do work for Selfridges and numerous middle eastern princes in London) but when you see the final product, you’ll realize you were just done, plain and simple. Do yourself a favor and walk, don’t run, as fast as you can from this charlatan. He belongs in a market in Beruit selling trinkets and haggling over the price, not doing floors in expensive flats in London.
