First impression? Not good& in a nutshell: avoid. I bought a special offer through Groupon to have my teeth whitened. And guess I should have done some research beforehand. I guess I expected a professional looking establishment offering dental care. Not so. The premises is in the basement of a hair salon /nail bar(called Taylor’d Hair). And it’s not clear at all that Whiter Smile Studio resides within. I purely went by the door number to find it. So first impression it’s a dingy little place. The basement is shabby and cold. There’s a toilet, a staff kitchenette & the treatment room(quite depressing looking functional and sparse). I was greeted friendly enough and simply told to sign some forms, take of my coat and then told I’d be receiving 315 minute sessions to have my teeth whitened. I guess they run on a tight time schedule as it felt quite rushed. And the next client was already waiting before I even finished. I was barely up from the treatment table before the next person was getting ready to hop on. Anyway, so about the treatment. It’s a fairly straightforward procedure. You lie down they put some gel on your teeth you put some red goggles on and lie there for 15 minutes in the darkness. Then quickly rinse your teeth and the same procedure again 3 times in total. As for the immediate results apparently I went 8 shades lighter. But the difference in shades are negligible. It’s a tad whiter than they were before but certainly not pearly white as you see on TV. That said: results are personal and my review isn’t about that as such. It’s about the experience. All in all this is not a professional establishment and I’d look elsewhere.
