Highway robbery with the holiday packaging. The luxury hot chocolate is usually £6 for 350 grams. In the holiday packaging, it is £8 for 140 gram. While one expects some sort of a markup in the holiday season, this is the retail version of usury. A quick calculation reveals that be more than a 200 percent markup… WTH…whittards?

OMG… the hot chocolate is to die for!!! You must sample it in the shop! Everything looks so amazing I’d like to purchase all of it! I thought that the prices weren’t half bad, esp for London! The service is excellent. The lady working there was very helpful and sweet. Will def visit there again.

I must say I’m not a lover of coffee, but my father(who happens to live in the North West London ‘burbs) doesn’t get Whittards around his neck of the woods. Thus, I am duly instructed to pick up whatever takes his fancy. This month it’s decaffeinated Colombian prepacked weighing in at£4.25, the staff are always attentive and they have lovely kitchenware and general caffeinated paraphernalia. Not the quietest of shops to peruse, but an excellent location nonetheless.

There’s nothing quite like strolling around this cute store whilst sipping on some Turkish Apple tea after out on Oxford, shopping in the cold. I am seriously waiting for the day they cross the pond and set up shop in the United States. Their Aztec Chili Hot Chocolate is to die for(I haven’t really had access to anything like it in the states), and their instant teas are pretty great as well.
