Yesterday I tried indian food for the first time. My mum convinced me to go to this place. For some reason I was always so hesitant to try it. This restaurant is very well known and my mum always goes there for a meal. I trusted her to order for me. So I got the Veg samosa, chicken korma with naan bread. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very delicious and not spocy at all. The restaurant is in winchmore hill close to the train station. The staff were really polite and nice and the atmosphere, too. The prestaurant is not very big but always very busy which shows just how good the food is. Next time i will try something different and I am sure I will like it.

This is a really nice, long running Indian restaurant. They sell the usual Indian restaurant menu, with quite an extensive amount of curries and side dishes, which are also explained on the menu. The only thing I would criticise about the menu is the lack of listed vegetarian curries(main dishes) listed, but you can of course ask for anything without meat. The food is served quickly and efficiently, and the waiters are attentive. For the area, this restaurant is really good value. Two people can eat and drink for under £30(including alcoholic beverages). I think that without the wine, it’s more like £20.
