I am really pleased with Wood and Beyond. Our flat was built 20 years ago, and for some reason the original owners decided to glue really ugly, cheap carpet straight onto the concrete underfloor. It is so, so ugly! We’ve been saving up for quite a while so we could have nice wooden floors fitted. We spent ages deciding(visiting various showrooms and looking online for bargains.) We ordered 3 samples(for free) from Wood and Beyond, and we really liked one of them. They added me onto their mailing list, so I started to receive messages from them letting me know when things were on sale. Of course, this was pretty tempting, so we ended up buying the exact floor that we wanted for quite a lot less than we expected. Yay! They called me within 10 minutes of placing my order(!) to arrange a delivery. The delivery turned up exactly on time… it was all stress free and easy. Yay! Pro tips: * Remember you’ll need a strong person to help them unload your floor! * If you like a floor on their website, order a sample… it’ll appear in the post for free. * You might as well sign up to their mailing list as they give extra discount codes. * They seem to have a lot of sales, so ignore the original prices and just look at the flooring within your price range. If they take money off later, it’ll be a bonus. I would give them 5 stars, but their affiliated fitting company never bothered to call me to give a quote on fitting our new floor(despite me requesting it several times!) So the floor selling-folks are fantastique, but the floor fitters don’t seem to want our business. Ah well.
