This is not the best kebab restaurant that I’ve tried. The menu was quite small and there weren’t that many choices. I ordered Lamb shish kebab. The meat was a little chewy and wasn’t moist enough. My friend ordered chicken shish and the meat was dryyyyy. I have a phobia for dry meat so it’s a big no no for me. The bread that came with it was not fresh. The waitress took the wrong order because she didn’t write things down even though there was a lot of us and the shop was very busy. Drinks are very cheap though. Probably wont come back again.

This place is *NOT* just for after the pub. Whilst my first visit to Woody’s was after a heavy night, waking up in the morning, having left my wrap untouched I was shocked by the quality of the food and amount of salad I’d been given whilst having gone there at a very ungodly hour! So returning on a less heavy night being throughly impressed by the quality and selection, this transgressed to before going out eating and has become a firm favourite of mine. The meals are tasty, filling, fresh and the staff are efficient and know what they are doing… and the best bit, the price. Cheap and cheerful doesn’t even go half way to describe this, meals are under £8, and whilst you might be put off by the plastic, brown fake wood feel of this place, take a seat and you’ll find it’s not as horrendous as you’d first expect it. If you are seated however do expect them to bring you a large basket of bread(included in the price), and be careful as this is delicious and it’s easy to be filled up on this, whilst when you’ll meal arrives, you will regret! One tip I would impart — whilst the meat options are fantastic, if you’re in a rush to get home or get out — get yourself a falafel wrap, it’s super quick, packed full of fresh salad, and you’re be finished before others have even started.

This place seems to be open 24⁄7! The OPEN-sign always blinks in red letters and I can hear it saying: Come in have some of that delicious falafel and some great bread with the best dipping sauce ever! It really does have the best falafel and it is soooo cheap as well! You get bread with it and a yoghurt dipping sauce which is delicious! Last time I was there something burnt and there was so much smoke in the room that even the bread tastet smokey so that wasn’t really a good experience. But every other time I was more than pleased with the quality you get for that little money! Try it!
