Don’t waste your time going there as there is nothing worth while. I used to buy veg there until i saw one of the staff picking their nose and then touching the food.

DO NOT SHOP AT TJ’s PHONES WOOLWICH MARKET!!! I have been ripped off at this stall in the market. They were supposed to fix my Iphone screen & Instead Damaged the wiring of my whole I phone & refused to fix it or take any responsibility. But my phone worked before they fixed the screen. I waited two and a half hours for them to fix the screen, and I knew something had to be wrong!!! I refused to pay the full amount after the time I waited (they told me it would be 30mins) but they wouldn’t give me my phone back unless I paid them for a botched job. They also refused to issue me with a receipt!!! They are unprofessional, swear, are rough and have very bad customer service. DO NOT SHOP HERE, I will be taking this matter further and they should be treated as criminals treating a lady in this manner!

My family have shopped in Woolwich market for as long as I can remeber. Beresford Square was part of the Royal Arsenal and has been around since post war times. The market today still offers great fruit and veg, as well as oriental herbs and spices. There are clothes, shoes, fabrics, luggage, mobile phone, flower stalls too. The place has had is fair share of up-​heaval due the on going regeneration projects that are in place. Have public conviences, kept well. Good access for DLR and train station. Gone are the days of the trams!

this is one of the better markets– defintely not trash at all. you won’t find organic as that is too expensive so it will not sell. the whole point of this market is that you can buy a bit of everything– from phones to watches (dependant on days and stalls on offer) quite frankly i love the place– been going there since i was so high. shame about woolwich itself, going downhill, i would visit this market while it is still there!

This is a nice litle market and has a wide variety of different stalls, which include greeting cards, gifts, clothes, fruit and veg, mobile phone repairs, shoes, carpets, towels and bric a brac plus lots more. The only thing about this market is that the quality of the produce isn’t too good. The prices are incredibly low… and you get what you pay for. Has a lovely atmosphere though.
