Le concept des plats tournants est amusant. En revanche, pas de coup de coeur: toujours les mêmes plats qui tournent(malgré tout, on peut en demander en particulier), et les prix assez élevés… Il y a mieux !

One of the better Yo Sushi’s and I been to them all regularly for over 10 years. Service is quite attentive for Yo Sushi. Crew and staff are friendly without being overbearing. Order’s are never forgotten. The female Sierra Leonian lady is fabulously friendly. One never get’s a feeling of being rushed that you get in many Yo Sushi’s, you can linger here for a long time and it’s never a issue without crew members buzzing around you every few seconds.

Ate here because it was close to our hotel when we were visiting London. Much better than sushi places back home(excepting the higher end places which are much too expensive). Staff was nice enough. nice location, too. Wouldn’t mind going again if I were to find myself in the area.

Yo! Sushi started off the whole conveyor belt sushi mania in London. Simon Woodroffe, its founder has since moved onto other projects like Yotel but his concept carries on This branch is located on the top floor of Whiteleys shopping centre, which has a collection of different restaurants. They’ve cleverly designed it so that people walking past can see the little dishes travelling past the diners I think that as humans, we may have an in-built Pavlovian response to like thinks passing on a conveyor. It may stem from the relief we feel when we finally see our suitcase coming down to us at the airport luggage carousel The conveyor may also give us the worry that should we pass on a juicy looking morsel, it may not be there any more if we let it travel round again. However, don’t panic as you can also order from the waiters, who also deliver non sushi items I still prefer fresh, made to order sushi but as a pre or post cinema casual meal, it’s fine

I’m a big fan of this place, it’s normally lively at lunchtime and there’s plenty of different dishes to taste. It’s a great place to take non sushi lovers too as there are plenty of nice noodle dishes and fried dishes to try. I have to particularly recommened the pumpkin patties. The service is fairly good though they’d probably be better off hiring another waiter as you do get left waiting sometimes but as you have access to the food straight away waiting a couple of minutes to get your bill isn’t that torturous! The only problem I can see with Yo Sushi is that having all that lovely food floating around makes it very hard to concentrate on chatting to your lunch partner so make sure that you go with someone who is as enthusiastic about food as you are. I often see toddlers and small children in there so it must be popular with kids too.

I’m a sushi addict. I’ve Lived in Tokyo, NY, and California; eaten at the best restaurants in each of those cities(if you know sushi, you know the restaurants I’m talking about). Unfortunately I’ve found very few really good sushi bars in the UK. This isn’t one of them. Marginal at best.

I’m not a particular fan of department stores in general, I don’t particularly like multiplex cinemas and I hate fast food or boring food chains. Whiteleys offers all of the above, why this branch of Yo! Sushi comes as such a welcome surprise. The food is excellent, and you can pretend you are anywhere in London, not under the roof of a second-rate department store in West London. I wrote my original review in 2008. This particular outlet is now rather tired and in desperate need of a refurb. I last went for a late lunch when the selection of dishes was rather limited, with the sushi rolls feeling as lukewarm as the fried dumplings. I mentioned this to the manager who immediately took some money off restoring my trust in YO! Sushi. With so many more branches to choose from it is unlikely I will return to this particular one.
