Good frozen yogurt but why do places like here and snog insist on charging for each individual topping? I would much rather be charged a little more for every serving with as many toppings as I want, pinkberry style. Rant over. God selection of flavours. Interior could be better but a nice location. Worth a go if in the area but don’t travel especially

In the beginning, there was Snog. They started the whole fro yo craze in London. The craze has been gradually gaining impetus and there is now a satisfying choice of outlets to satisfy the craving. As I don’t often get to Hampstead, I haven’t had a chance to sample the yoghurt at Yogutry until recently. Some Unilocalers who are connoisseurs of fro yo have been giving it good reviews. Firstly, I have to take some brownie points away for spelling yogurt in an American way! The main draw of this place to me is the variety of flavours that they offer. Most outlets only do 2 or 3 flavours but Yogurtry offer 8. Some of the flavours — peanut butter and dulce de leche — are maybe sweeter than you would expect from fro yo but are nontheless yummy. With so may flavours to choose from, it’s a shame I live so far away. Now, fro yo purveyors in London, we need cheaper fro yo and self serve fro yo — I can’t limit myself to just 3 toppings!

I find frozen yoghurt to be like ice cream with less guilt and less satisfaction. This kind of runs true to yogutry. There’s plenty of flavours on option, including a really nice peanut butter, but the actual place is the let down. It just felt a bit dirty and wasn’t somewhere I would describe as relaxing. Definitely better to just get takeaway and get out.

Great yogurt with superb flavours and topppings. It is so good that I returned many times even though I am normally not a huge fan of yogurt. The décor is also really original and well done. The founder is well known in the area as a creative genius who has made a mark in PR, as a DJ, in marketing and a writer and this place shows so much talent which I why I love it. Even mid week during the afternoon it has many of the trendy and discerning Hampstead regulars in it when most places would be empty and during the weekend it is busy. In Hampstead High Street there are many places trying to get attention as a special place and this place does it. It is not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for.

I normally do not like frozen yogurt. A: Because people call it Fro-Yo AND B: Because I want ice cream. And it’s hard to mask that sourish aftertaste that reminds you of what you’re not eating but that you really want. But a friend took me there after a long hard day of shopping and I thought I’d give it a try. Simple yogurt flavors, basic toppings and sauces. Good. I think too many options for things like this can get to be too much. I didn’t like that they didn’t have any combination suggestions on the wall. Im a lazy fro-yo-er and I want them to give me some ideas without trying too hard. But the end product was very tasty. I had peanut butter yogurt with Cadbury Flake topping and chocolate sauce. I thought the cadbury stuff was toffee bits(Im from the states people I dont know your crazy cadbury bits) which would have made the item even more amazing. But it didnt hurt it much. It was kind of expensive for frozen yogurt(small size, two toppings cup was about 3 pounds something?) but the AWESOME fact that it didn’t have that sourish aftertaste like I’ve experienced in the past made it worth it.

I’ve introduced my mum to fro-yo and she’s gone more yog-insania than Peter Andre. Fro-yo this and fro-yo that: «Zara we must now get some fro-yo after our gym class», «Zara is it OK to have fro-yo for breakfast?», «Zara I’m thinking of setting up a fro-yo shop», «Zara, can one bath in the stuff?». We’re under the illusion that it’s a healthy snack, but I am sure there is a catch. Especially if you have a tendency like me to break away from the healthy low calorie natural flavour. Yogurtry is perfect for that. It’s refreshing to see up to eight varieties on offer as so many offer just three. Flavours include chocolate, mint, coffee and strawberry. I tried the amazingly delicious peanut-butter fro-yo, which has a bit more fat than the other varieties(but still less than 2%). My only criticism is that for diet conscious the staff are unable to tell you the calorie of content of anything other than the natural flavour(which is 93 cals boys and girls). I’ve emailed for the info(yes I am that sad), so stay tuned readers, because I know you care that much.

This is the best frozen yogurt place in London. England however has a long way to go in catching up with the US when it comes to frozen yogurt. While I enjoyed the frozen yogurt itself, I’ve felt ignored by the staff every time I visited. I hear that the owner is a total legend, it’s a shame to see his hard work be badly represented by staff who don’t seem to care. The store is wonderfully designed and really captures the frozen yogurt culture. If the staff were more polite and attentive I would give this place 3 stars. If it were self serve I’d give it 4 stars. If they beat these expectations I’d give it 5. Harsh but fair I feel.

Yogurtry is in a great location, and the inside is bright and it has some great seating, but the yogurt is too sweet and didn’t have enough kick, and also has more calories than Yu-Foria. The plus side of Yogurtry is that it has a number of different flavoured frozen yog to pick from. If you are in need of frozen yogurt and you are in Hampstead you might as well try it, especially if you have a sweet tooth :)

Hands down, no question, 100% sure, without a doubt, Yogurtry is the BEST frozen yogurt joint in all of London. Yogurtry has REAL frozen yogurt. Since I am a new resident of London, I have mistakenly thought that SNOG, Frae, and YOG would tide me over, filling my deprivation of the amazing froyo from the US. Yogurtry has eight, let me repeat, EIGHT(8!) flavours to choose from! FINALLY! And not only tart flavours, but true, rich, froyo flavours that are sweet too! You can choose from: Natural Chocolate Peanut Butter Vanilla Banana Strawberry Tart Mint Tart Coffee Today was the opening of the shop and I had been counting down the days until it’s opening. Tonight I enjoyed the peanut butter and chocolate flavours together. The peanut flavour was absolutely delicious, and so perfect when combined with the rich, creamy chocolate flavour. What other yogurt shop in London has peanut butter??? Yep-none. Plus the chocolate here blows SNOG out of the park. I also tried the mint, which was sooo good, I plan on mixing that with the chocolate next time(tomorrow?) Seriously, I’ll probably go every day this week. The shop couldn’t be more perfectly located. Right on Hampstead High Street, across from the Hampstead Station. The inside is also cute and cozy, with two tables by the windows for people watching as well as a big back room with extra tables for hanging out. Plenty of space to just hang out with a big ol cup of yog and chat with your friends. I met both the owner and the guy that has mastered all the flavours on the menu. Both were so friendly and nice and genuinely seemed to want to make my overall experience at Yogurtry the best possible. They brought me more flavours to try as I was scarfing down my yogurt in the cute little back room. Also, they explained to me that their inspiration for Yogurtry was the froyo shops they visited in the states. Maybe THAT explains it all. Nice job, Yogurtry. You’ve done FroYo right.
