Yun Kims is my guilty pleasure. It’s not haute cusine by any means, and sometimes it tends towards greasy chinese, but what they do amazingly well is really hot chinese food. It’s not really tradtionial Szechuan hot, it’s more normal chinese with thicker, stronger sauces. The Szechuan Crispy Surprise with beef is amazing, much ‘wetter’ than the usual crispy chilli beefs you get and all the better for it. Avoid the ‘special sweet and sour’(it was really vile), go for the beef, or the kung pao prawns, or the one’s in hot chilli garlic sauce and your tastebuds will thank you. When they’ve stopped screaming from the chilli.
