Two us of came here for lunch, I guess we were hoping for a moderate amount of food but that is not what we got. Admittedly we did go for starters, and we were given bread and olives as we sat down. A dish of hummus embellished with a nice amount of herbs and with some nice flatbread. We also shared feta and spinach borek, which was as good as it sounds, freshly cooked. For main course, my friend had some chicken wings and I had lamb ribs. All had been BBQ’d with some care as watched into the kitchen area. It was all well cooked, nicely presented and with some simple salad and rice/cous cous. There was a lot of it too, especially the meat, this was generous. The two people who served us were both friendly, I think that was their entire staff. It seems to be a family run kind of place. The décor is interesting to look at while you wait. They have signed pictures of a few celebrities on the wall. I’m fairly sure that Bruce Forsyth has never come to Eltham for a kebab though! There were plenty of other things on the menu that sounded really good. We had zero complaints and will come back.

If you are really hungry, Ziyafet is your restaurant. The have amazing meat dishes. I love their Yogurtlu Adana meat dish. It’s a nice neighbourhood restaurant with a good service and good Turkish cuisine. They serve Sunday Roast as well.
