I’ve been here twice and it’s been a damp experience during both visits. Service is lousy. During the second visit our mains were brought while we were still having our starters. Unless their system runs like Wagamama, this doesn’t make sense. And if it does, shouldn’t we be informed. I ordered hot beverages both times and each time they came luke warm! Why?! Starters — good. Mains — okay. Service — no no no. Sad because they are on a beautiful part of the high street but don’t meet up to any expectations.

Went here this evening after making an online booking using the restaurants website. The food was very average. Service slow but friendly. The bruschetta we ordered looked like it was on a burger bun! Everything else we had was equally uninteresting. I had requested on my booking, as it was my daughters 6th birthday if it might be possible to have a candle in her dessert so we could sing happy birthday to her. I assumed this would happen as the waiter who showed us to our table did wish her a happy birthday so they had read my note. Dessert came and went. No birthday candle. There’s an array of Italian restaurants to choose from — I won’t be choosing this one again.

Quick, cheerful, good food and expedient service. I can’t really fault it – nothing special, but it really does the job if you’re hungry and fancy a bit of Italian. Big plus point for its kid friendliness.

Amazing pizza place. I like seating outside and ordering a large pizza it’s quite big but so delicious that I eat it all. The order time is fair, not too long but not fast either. However, if you’re not that hungry, it’s definitely worth the wait.

This is the place we visit for having a pizza on Friday nights. We prefer sitting inside, because of the cats and dogs passing by. Service is very good and fast.

One of my most favorite local places to hang out with friends and yet enjoy some delicious meals. Been here, and I may call myself a regular. I just love the pizzas here. I’m really happy that this chain of restaurants has a brand here in Acton and will be sure to keep visiting it. Highly recommended!

Mmmm delicious! I‘m glad Zizzi is near my house, I eat here at least once per week and every time it is great. I recommend this place to pizza lovers.

Zizzi has raised its game, we had a delicious meal tonight, with a bottle of their excellent New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The bruschetta was somewhat bland, it needed some pesto on it, but the new mains of their fish stew and chicken diavolo were excellent, as were the ice creams; well done Zizzi, we will be back.

Zizzis is my favourite spot for quick, reliable pizza in Chiswick. The pizza is not the best in the area, though I definitely appreciate the unusual option of having a wholemeal base, something I’ve only ever seen once before(Harry’s bar near Blackfriars station). Instead, what brings me back here time and time again is the excellent, friendly and quick service. I walk in, am ushered to my table, given a menu, and have a tasty pizza in front of me in 10 – 15 mins. Fantastic.

Good pizzas and good service(generally) For a simple reliable pizza in W4 this is where I go!

Delicious bolognese, tomato pesto bread, and caprese salad! It was all very fresh tasting and totally hit the spot. The only downside was our server — she was borderline rude and obviously disappointed that we didn’t order any wine or dessert. Nonetheless, I would still go here again, if in the area.

Some Indian bird next to me was ranting a litany of complaints to the unfortunate manager. Lord knows why. Service here is great, understated but attentive and thoughtful. Staff let me modify my mare & monte pizza to be all seafood, and boxed up half to take home. Balsamic vinegar offered with Insalate tricolore, advocado was ripe and perfectly soft, tomatoes vine ripened and perfect with the mozzarella. Some desserts unavailable due to the late hour but the staff had extra options such as chocolate mousse which was great. Plenty of Italian families lingering over food and wine, so I think they approve!

Pretty good menu selection. The rustica pizza is nice. This is the first place I ever had a pizza with fried egg on it. The eggplant(I mean aubergine) Parmesan is quite good. The desserts are worth a try. It a little on the pricey side, but the portions are big. Over all, I would give it another try.

Nice outdoor seating area, nice large windows that make inside feel more like outside, and servers that are annoyed that you are eating in their patron-less restaurant. My pasta was typical chain fare, not good, not horrible, with more salt that I appreciate.

Decent pizza at a decent price. My kids ate a shocking amount of the stuff. However, this was some snooty ass service! We walked in with 4 adults and two children. The restaurant was mostly empty. I think there were 3 tables with people at them. The host asks if we called ahead for reservations. I looked around and with a bit of a shock asked if we had to. The host then rolled his eyes, sighed and then told us he would seat us. He actually appeared to be confused as to WHERE to seat us out of the 20 or so tables that were available. Their beer list consists of one beer and they were out of sprite and/or lemonade.(I asked for either and was told they were out.) Two sprites appeared on the bill even though I ordered only one and received none. They did rectify this quickly and with apology though so no problem. Like I said to start, tasty pizza and the kids loved it. Now if only they would make you feel welcome they would be on to something!

Another good quality chain restaurant along the Chiswick High Road. Despite the rather dark interior, partly due to the overhanging flats above, partly due to its north-facing location, this restaurant manages to be welcoming thanks to the open kitchen and open stonebake oven that greets you as you walk through the door. The interior is suitably comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. And the food is top notch for the price. Hundreds of gastropubs up and down the land charge twice the price for food not half as good. I recommend the calzone, but it’s all good. Explore it for yourself.

Part of a large and now expanding group of pizza outlets but it retains a good quality feel about. Many large groups expand rapidly and then loose site of what made them good in the first place. Zizzi are selective in who they employ and this is reflected in the service I have experienced when visiting Zizzi Chiswick. Whilst it is only a pizza /pasta restaurant, there are many that fail to rise to the standards of this one. Open plan kitchens and pizza ovens, allows you to watch as your food is prepared and no one can say that this doesn’t instil confidence in the cleanliness and standard of preparation. Whilst the menu is formulaic — show me an Italian restaurant that isn’t, it works and well done to them for the continually high standards. A great place to go and catch up with friends that won’t cost the earth but where you know the food is going to be good and the service consistent. Thoroughly recommended for what it offers.

This is a chain restaurant and there are plenty of Zizzis not only all over London but all over the UK. However, don’t let the fact that this restaurant is a chain put you off from eating here. All Zizzi restaurants are similar in style and the quality of the food is excellent in all of them. The Chiswick branch is quite a big venue and is located on the High Street so ideal if you want to stop for a quick pizza whilst out shopping. The food is really good and is decently priced– they have a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, risottos and salads and the staff tend to be Italian and very friendly.

Extremely popular destination for families(including mine!), this branch of Zizzi’s is packed during the day & early eves with(moderately) well behaved kids. Part of a large chain now, the restaurant serves up quick, reasonably priced pizzas & pasta dishes. No surprises on the menu, but ideal if you want a quick meal & have impatient kids in tow.
