Popped into their secluded outdoor café space on the way to the beach. My partner and I enjoyed a cream tea with scones. Easily one of the best cream teas we’ve had. The scones were warm and huge (you only need one). The cream and jam were aplenty, and the tea was rich and delicious.
Not sure on their other food, but highly recommend this for an afternoon break. Walk the calories off along the beach.

A medium sized café in the busy town of Lyme Regis, Café Sol has a refreshingly uplifting interior with its sunny yellow walls and comfortable wooden furniture. The menu is fairly wide ranging, with homemade cakes, teacakes, toasted sandwiches, being supplemented by more substantial meals like salads, jacket potatoes and daily specials like smoked mackerel pâté, reflecting its close proximity to the sea. Café Sol has a small area for outdoor seating too, adjacent to a river, perfect for wiling away a summer’s afternoon. However, as with most places in Lyme Regis during the summer, it can get fairly busy at lunchtime
