Flavours fine Turkish cuisine is a newly formed restaurant which is creating a buzz. Now, I have been to Cyprus and eaten some good Turkish grub in Nicosia and this is not far behind in taste and quality. It has a 5 star hygiene rating and it is indeed very clean — always good to know when you are considering eating at a restaurant. For £5.50, the Meze 1 gives you a platter of humus, stuffed vine leaves(yum), sausage and aubergine salad. It is a lot of food for the price and delicious to boot. For the exceptionally hungry you can spend some more and £14.50 buys you a mixed chargrill of mainly lamb and chicken and kofti with rice or salad. This is a carnivore’s idea of heaven and the meat is so filling even the greediest diner will feel stuffed like their vine leaves. Children are not relegated to a separate slightly patronising menu and they can eat exactly the same as mummy and daddy but for only half the price. The next time I go to Flavours I may be more adventurous and try the swordfish which is well priced at £12.90. In fact the entire menu is a steal, my only gripe is that it only opens for lunch at weekends and sometimes I want a Turkish feast on a Tuesday.

A lovely authentic turkish restaurant which is located upstairs on the main street that runs through Lymm. It is a nicely decorated and stylish place to eat but its best to book as it gets pretty busy at weekends and on fridays. The have a large selection of starters and for the mains you have a good choice of seafood, chicken or red meat and there are lots of vegetable dishes for the vegetarians. Even if you are not a vegetarian or vegan you would be able to have a lovely selection of meze dishes including baked aubergine(iman biyadi). chickpea and spinach too name a few and also the breads are great. worth a visit if you are in the area.
