Called in for a pint while passing and was impressed with the range of real ale. It’s not often you see barrels on the bar. The beer was good but unfortunately was driving so had to stop at one. There was an extensive menu on the blackboards inclding curries and other interesting looking dishes but we didn’t stop to eat. The pub is a real country pub with loads of ‘stuff’ inside including a thatched roof over the bar. I’d certainly like to go back and investigate further.
