This restaurant has come to be a regular on my list of places to eat in Macclesfield. The standard menu is on offer here, so you know what you are going to get. The pizzas are tasty and good value– get the gourmet versions if you can, and always start with the dough balls for starters! Atmosphere is noisy, but utter fits in with what you would expect, be it with your other half or a large group of friends. The staff are friendly and the service and timings are good. Booking is not usually essential unless its a public holiday.

I used to like this pizza express but it’s really gone down hill in the last year or two. It used to feel up market for a pizza but whilst the prices are very up market the quality is not and the service and atmosphere leave a lot to be desired. Just spent over £70 for two adults and two piccolo meals which just felt over priced because the pizzas lacked depth in their toppings. It all tasted good but For what we got id expect to pay £50 max. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

Pizza Express in Macclesfield is well located centrally. It is close to car parks and easy to access and find. There is disabled parking immediately outside the door. The service is very efficient and friendly, and we really enjoy the food. One of our daughters has been to a party at the Pizza Express and found it a really positive experience — from the fun of making their own pizza, to watching it cook and then enjoying eating their own creation The restaurant itself is clean, the décor pleasant and the temperature okay — last time we were located rather close to the door, but know now to ask for a better table next time. We tend to make the most of Pizza express offers that come out from time to time, in national papers, or on the web — these make it a reasonable place to eat out!
