I adore this coffee shop. Everytime I go into Maldon I visit it even if just to have a takeaway coffee. The surroundings are lovely and the coffee is varied and superb. Its not the cheapest place for lunch but you get what you pay for. Delicious sandwiches, panini’s and salads. There are also different specials every day. My favourite is the ploughmans its the best Ive had. Kids love the freshly made milkshakes. In the summer you can sit outside in a lovely terrace.
The staff are friendly and very efficient — they wont keep you waiting even though every lunchtime the place is packed out. If you are in Maldon in the summer I recommend their special evening eat as much as you like barbeques.

Great breakfasts served until 12 noon with good quality bacon and sausage and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. We turned up on a Saturday at 12.45 when the place was packed, but they checked and said we could order the breakfasts anyway.
