maldon deli is the reason we visit maldon every week, the staff are friendly and polite and the outside area in the summer is lovely. they have a delicious menu choice which is mainly organic and their homemade organic soups are the best we have ever tasted. the coffee is the no doubt the best in maldon and with a range of organic juices to choose from we would recommend everyone to try the deli.

I have to say there are a lot more nicer and better places to eat in Maldon. The deli looks lovely and has outside seating but their menu is quite restrictive. Coffee is ok but not great. Staff can be friendly and attentive but sometimes seem more interested in chatting to each other. Can feel a little ‘cliquey’ at times. Have to admit the oils and gifts they sell are nice and quite a good choice.
Do like the fact they have throws and hot water bottles on the outside tables in winter but have to admit there are 3 or 4 others places in the immediate vicinity where I would rather eat.

Very smart, friendly deli with a small café attached. Outside seating, with hot water-​bottles for the winter!
Great selection of meats, cheeses and other ‘niche’ type products along with novelty — but not tacky — gift ideas.
Prices are sensible, given the variety and high quality of the produce, and the service is always first class.
