My first impression, as we walked in, was that it was busy for a Wednesday evening. However, we were received by a very cheerful young lady who guided us to a seating area by the bar for a drink as we waited for our friends to arrive. Our table was in a very nice area with plenty of space so conversations were not overheard, not that it mattered. Service was a little slow but, as I have said, it was extremely busy. Food was really good. Tasty and plenty of it. The Polish young lady that served us had a great sense of humour which she needed as my male friend, and I, have a wicked sense of humour. She did make one mistake in that a round of drinks that we ordered did not arrive. This was quickly rectified with an offer of free coffees all around. No complaints and we would go back. Very nice seating area outside for al fresco dining if the weather is OK.

eaten here a couple of times but not very impressed on the last visit my spaghetti bolognese looked and tasted like a supermarket ready meal, the service was not particularly friendly and the drinks were very expensive(£6 for a 500ml bottle of peroni £2.20 in the supermarket) there is a large car park to rear and the restaurant itself is very nice but i will be in no hurry to go back there

over priced for food that comes out of packet, service could better, nice setting won’t be rushing back, better of at a nice country pub.

Can only echo the comments of previous reviewers. Food is fine, if nothing special, but definitely overpriced when compared to a comparable Pizza Express menu. Setting and ambience are good, but the large amount of glass is drafty in the cold weather. Service is efficient rather than friendly, but it was Sunday evening when I went there(I’d rather not have been working). Overall, average — tries hard but could do better and there are other better places to eat in the village.

Prezzo’s in Maldon is set in a lovley building with a very nice courtyard to eat al fresco in Summer. The food is good and we always enjoy a meal here albeit sometimes slow service. Their Honeycomb Cheesecake is one of my most favourite desserts ever. I agree with other reviewers that it is pricey for what it is however Prezzo’s do often run a ‘2 for 1′ deal and we generally eat when that offer is on. A public car park is right behind the restaurant so there is no problem getting parked especially in the evening.

Nice little restaurant. Can get quite busy at weekends so best to book advance. The menu is the same at any Prezzo in the country so its not very unique. The pizza is fresh, very tasty and authentic. The prices are a bit high for what you are given, especially compared to other pizza restaurants. The restaurant itself is always clean and well presented.

Nice restaurant, although to me it always feels like it’s trying to be a bit posh. Food is ok, nothing really special, it’s not very authentic Italian — more British-Italian. Staff are always friendly and quick to make suggestions, only thing really that lets it down is the price — the food isn’t really worth it. I’ve been to others in the chain and they’re all very similar.
