Carpeteria

I popped into Carpeteria because it had a great name and also because I’ve been looking for a new rug for our living room in out flat.
I’ve been spending more and more time in Levenshulme recently, and oddly, loads of businesses have really amazing names here. Carpeteria is clearly a prime example of this fact.
Carpeteria (seriously, every time I type it it’s both a struggle and a joy) is the kind of place that’s full from the floor to the ceiling with massive rolls of carpet. When I went in, I just wanted to put my hand on all the new soft carpet and, well, feel how new and soft it was. I can report that it felt soft and new.
Rugs aren’t really Carpeteria’s thing, but the pleasant sales assistant did show me the two or three they did have. They weren’t really the kind of thing I was looking for, but he was nice enough about it. If I ever need to carpet anything, Carpeteria is where I will be heading.
