This place opened a fair few years ago and I’ve visited every once in a while with friends and family for that all you can eat buffet! The selection is vast with an array of oriental food on the buffet, with english food(chips haha) to thai curries, to noodles, to chinese food, to japanese food. They also have a Japanese«create your own dish» Tepanyaki! You pick your own vegetables from the bar on the side, with noodles if you desire, and then give your plate to the chef and tell him which meat you would like with it. He cooks it up right there in front of you and viola! Your dish is served =) For £12 you can have the all you can eat, drinks are separately priced but you HAVE to try the milkshakes! They are delish. The best thing here is the crispy duck. I’ve never had it better from anywhere else. I love it! I go for the buffet price, just to eat plates of crispy duck and the tepanyaki… It’s a fairly standard buffet, kept clean and refilled and it has a Mr. Whippy ice cream machine at the end with all the desserts. There’s plenty to choose from.

Let’s be honest: even in Central Manchester the restaurant staff don’t always run to open the door in front of you. And this is exactly what the guys at Swinton’s Chopsticks are doing. They open the door for you, invite you in, take you to the table, take your drinks order, and then show you to the buffet. The price is good enough for some people to be going there every weekend. Being spoilt by the likes of Red Chilli, Rice, and Shang Hai, I have to admit that the price is adequate to the quality: it is good, but not exceptional. The place is popular with large groups of people. I can hardly remember ever seeing a proper romantic date there. Fair enough, it could be totally ruined by a 10-odd party, often with children.

Good value cheap and cheerful buffet. Because of the price there were several screaming kids running around, so definitely not a venue for a romantic meal. The food is plentiful but generally poor quality. I’d still recommend it: just try small portions of several of the dishes until you find some that you like, and then tuck in. The highlight is probably the Teppanyaki bar: choose some raw meat and vegetables, hand it to the(non-English speaking) chef and wait for him to cook it. The staff are brisk and efficient, but don’t expect any conversation. There is no dedicated parking, although local car parks are available. Recommended, but with reservations.

okay, i used to go to chopsticks a lot(about twice a week) so here goes. the sushi is pretty damn cheap, its worth paying extra at a sushi bar. the staff tut at you when getting food, and appear to have a fondness of glaring. no fish dishes on offer here, noodles taste hard, rice is well attended to. plenty of unedible meats. teppanyaki bar isnt bad. over priced drinks. hard cake, fruit is tinned, very rarely it will be fresh. if you live in swinton, take a local trip down to another, you can pay the same and get fish. dissapointed. However, a long time ago they served real crab claws and fish, when they first opened.

All you can eat buffet, Chinese Japanese and malaysian food on offer. Teppanyaki bar, sushi. Modern stylish restaurant with air conditioning(great when your heavily pregnant and stuffing your face in the summer) and bar. Prices around £10-£13 in the evening depending on the day and about £6 for the lunch time buffet. Between the two buffets they have a light bites menu which i havent tried. Fantastic food fantastic prices — my mouth is watering i wonder if ill go for lunch tomorrow haha.
