Costa Coffee Forte Retail Park
I visited one Sunday morning at 9:45. I was suprised as it was very busy. There is lots of seating inside and there are few table and chairs outside if you want to smoke. Staff wer very polite and helpfull. The cakes looked delightful, although on this occasion, I just had a drink. There are toilets for customers only. Very pleasant atmosphere to just sit and watch the world go by! They take the Costa card here.

I have been here a few times and it’s OK it’s always really busy so it’s hard to find a table and when you don’t is usually full of old cups, plates and rubbish.
They do make a nice latte and the cakes are good too i just think it’s a little over priced. I would go here again if I was shopping at the fort.

I went to this store today, while shopping in The Manchester Fort, when visiting the Fort, I normally visit Starbucks but with it shutting (some time ago now), this is probably one of the best places for Coffee in the Fort.
I ordered a Hot Spiced Apple, I am not a fan of Costa and normally I don’t like their products but one product of theirs I do like is this drink and it does encourage me to visit Costa
This store was very busy when I came, so busy infact that the 3 – 4 baristas couldn’t cope with the demand, It looked like the Assistant Manager was training up a new member of staff so that could of been slowing things down slightly.
My beverage was quite large for a medium, I expected it to be smaller, I was happy but I would of been tempted to get a small if I knew about the size. My drink cost £2.80, which was quite good value for a tea of that quality, which contained a cinnamon stick and slices of apple.
They was a large amount of Gluten Free wraps, however the one I picked up was expiring on the day of my visit, I would of perhaps saved it for a upcoming hospital checkup, but had no choice but to eat it that day. They had a large amount of the wraps, but it would be sad to see them all go if they do all expire on the day of my visit.
They managed to add points onto my Costa card and not remove them, from my Mobile App. I was relieved to see this after having a problem doing this with a branch in Liverpool very recently.
This store has free O2 wifi, what could be used in other areas of the Manchester Fort.
I have to rate this store highly for stocking Gluten Free savoury snacks however but with it being so busy and them struggling to cope with demand, with the amount of seats and staff (even though they was quite a few baristas and the Assistant Manager working), I can only give 3 stars.
