Dogs ‘n’ Dough

The city centre purveyor of all things Americanised (well, Hot Dogs and Pizza) Dogs ‘n’ Dough has opened a new «Dog Shack» in Spinningfields, currently positioned next to the rather superb Mumma Schnitzel, opposite mega-​sandwich corporation Pret a Manger.
The shack, sorry, #TheDogShack has the main restaurant’s selection of hot dogs and milk shakes on sale, pizzas presumably won’t fit into their snug new surroundings.
The prices of the hot dogs are a hair cheaper than the restaurant (a plain hot dog costs you £4, up to £7 for a heavily topped beast — too much for one lunch time, surely?) which is a welcome move, but the quality is undiminished, these are real meaty sausages with a satisfying pop when you bite into them.
Speaking to one of the guys working the van, they plan to stick around — the plan is for Spinningfields to attract a lot more street food vendors and make it a destination, which can only be a good thing, with some dedicated sheltered seating and hopefully a bar, things are really looking up in Spinningfields!
