These reviews are telling indeed. Two Americans praising a Pancake House in the UK! It must be good. I know that the best pancakes I’ve ever had are from the US, and if they still like these, well then there’s no doubting their quality.
It does have a genuine Dutch atmosphere as well, and if anyone is going to test the Americans dominance in the pancake making tables, then it’ll be the Netherlands. Large filling joyful pancakes with a variety of fillings at great prices. I might as well shut up, as you do not need any more incentives to pay it a visit.

When I first visited Manchester when considering moving there I found this place as it was outside my hotel. Man was I impressed. The food was outstanding, atmosphere was typical of what you’d find in Holland too. Here and there on the service but the food makes up for it. Located perfectly off the tram in the city centre and very cheap.

I am not ssure if this is still open
But the pancakes we used to get there were massive.
I have not even been for a long time so do not know if its still open
the sweet pancakes were my favourite! mmmm

One of my sweetest memories of Manchester.
I always passed by the dark, closed space with curiosity and my mouth slightly watering.
Finally, one weekend, when my friend found me sitting on the curb looking at library books I just checked out, he said, «Come on, we’re going.»
These babies are like the friggin’ 2nd place Wimbledon platter. Exact same size. HUUUGE beautiful pancake with sausage rounds within.
I really wish we had more mornings like that, Andrew and I.
