Flanagans

So I came here after finding myself unable to face the long queue for service at Barber Barber. There was a queue, and I had to wait a while, but Flanagans didn’t feel like as much of a conveyer belt as some of the other trendy barber shops in town. The overall feel of the place is very laid back — lots of exposed wood and various pieces of sporting and Americana memorabilia on display.
But the best part was the actual haircut. No doubt about it, this was The Best Haircut I’ve had in my life. £25, so not cheap but comparable to other places in town and I was much happier with the result. This is definitely the place where I will get my hair cut from now on! Plus, they have an iPhone app — download it to get £2 off a haircut, and after four check ins with the app you get a free American Crew product. Not too shabby!
The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that it’s strictly walk in only — no appointments. It would be nice to make a booking so you know you won’t be hanging around waiting.
