I am sick to death of people ‘reviewing’ a business of which they haven’t even used. They are just expressing their hatred for a brand. If I did that if have a thousand reviews but I won’t slate an establishment just because I dislike the brand — its narrow minded and damaging to the independently run franchises. So if you want to read proper opinions you will find that two of the regular users here vote this 5 star compared to the others who used it once and vote it 1 star. We use this KFC around once every 2 – 3 weeks for a treat. There is a reason for that — IT’S GOOD! Someone can complain about customer service being lax but I’m sorry, I have yet to come across a single fast food place where the service is great — what do you expect? Silver service? I think not. I know we should all expect a certain level of service wherever we go but to say this place is bad is like giving speeding tickets out in an F1 race. The service is fine — is no better, but certainly no worse than the thousand other fast food shops around. The main reason we keep coming back here is food quality consistency. So many fast food places are hit and miss depending who’s on the grill — but every time we come here it is piping hot and gorgeous. Sometimes we eat in and some times we take home. Either way for someone who has bought around 20 meals from here and never had a single bad one, or bad experience with ‘customer service’ tells you something about consistency. I am not saying the other users did not have a bad experience — we can all have them even in 5* hotels. But my point is from a frequent regular user I find this place one of the best, most consistent branches of KFC I have tried(country wide). It certainly beats off every other place that sells fried chicken in Manchester which often taste no better than something you could do yourself at home out of frozen bags from a Supermarket. But can you do a KFC? Can you heck.

Right. On the one hand its boring to review a KFC, but this is my local and I cannot accept the reviews that its been given. Also, i’ve reviewed so many fried chicken shops in Manchester, and none of them are as good as the old KF, that I feel it needs to be voiced. KFC is incredible. The chicken taste so much better than anywhere else. Also i always feel ill and am sometimes sick after fried chicken from other places, but I never feel bad after a KF. The only bad point about this KF is that as you enter the building there is a very greasy area in the air around the door. You can even see it shimmering. However, this is not enough to take it down from its 5 wonderful stars.

I went there the other night. I didn’t want a burger from McDonalds, so KFC just next door… makes sense. No… I mean the food is always the same. You can’t complain about the food when it comes to such a big chain. They have it nearly ready, somewhere in the back, waiting for you to order. The customer service is bad. I mean, I don’t necessarily think that might be the staff’s fault but here you go. What I mean is, I’ve ordered some chicken bla bla bla, and they didn’t have it. Oooook, how about the other burger, noooo, not in the stock anymore… how about you new, well advertised on every corner in town, milkshake? Nooo, tomorrow for it. Happy, happy, joy, joy. What am I suppose to eat? The leftovers? I bought some wings in the end and some fries, with a bit of corn to keep me going. But now I know, not to go there if it’s after 7, because they might not have food. Somehow, that makes me happy though, means some of the food is fresh everyday, so no mice, or any other unwanted creatures around.

I cant stand KFC so I’m not made up about the fact I have one so close. I don’t care if you can get a family bucket for £9.99 or if the chicken ‘is a great hangover cure’. The very idea you would come home to your kids with a huge bucket of fried chicken and chips for dinner is a little unsettling. I had the great experience of accompanying my friend to this one in Salford. The staff were rude, the fast food was slow, and folk pushed in front of us. Your welcome to your greasy chicken Ill stick with a trip to asda.
