Excellent, friendly, local boozer.
Great prices on booze, and even better on food.
Recently reopened under new management, with some welcome renovations and a great new menu.

My pub of choice after playing sport. Super fiscal, a really good pint of smoothflow John Smith’s and when you’re gasping for a soft drink they only charge 10p for a pint of squash — rather than charging the Earth like lots of places do. There’s also a pool table so if you lost the game you might be able to recover a bit of pride with the cue.
