Pret A Manger

Not being a coffee drinker, there wasn’t much point in me frequenting ‘Pret’. That was until I started learning German and meeting my new teacher here.
It’s the perfect place to meet someone. Piccadilly train station is just a short walk away, as are the major tram and bus stops. Plus it’s so easy to find — just look for the big red brick building overlooking the gardens and (unless you’re a total numpty) you can’t go wrong.
There are plenty of refrigerated options for non-​warm-​beverage-​drinkers. I usually opt for a bottle of water, flavoured with hibiscus and some other fruit that’s very ‘in’ at the moment. Lychee possibly? Whatever it is costs just under £2, which isn’t too bad as it’s a good-​sized bottle and lasts me a while.
The sandwiches look great, although I haven’t tried any of them yet. There are also an array of delicious looking sweet treats (muffins and the like) which I’m looking forward to chomping on during my future lessons.

Loooove. I love love love Pret! This Pret is right on the perimeter of Piccadilly Gradens, so on a nice day (haha.) you can grab your sandwich/​coffee/​brownie bar and catch some sun (LOL) outside.
Okay, enough poking fun at Manc’s terrible weather. This location is really nice in that they have internet, and there are a couple plugs hidden in the back left corner of the restaurant (where the freezer meets the glass wall).
Recommended food/​bev items:
*Swedish meatball wrap (I would eat this all day long, every day if I could!)
*Chicken wrap
*Salmon sandwich
*Popcorn
*Cappuccino
*Hot chocolate
and I know my friends love their desserts.
*Pizza wrap — not recommended. It seems «cheap» on ingredients (read: empty) compared to the others.

Great Pret very good selection, changing seasonally. Friendly staff and a welcoming enviroment for a business meeting or a quick coffee.

The service in this branch of Pret is first class. I have been in more than once, both when busy and when quiet, and have never been disappointed, but always felt valued. It’s both a large and small store. It’s large in the overall space it occupies but the amount of seats and tables available means there is less shop floor space so only 2 chiller cabinets for sandiwches, sushi and salad.
Nonetheless, there is a full selection available and the coffee I had there was made perfectly every time. There is a toilet in the shop but it’s a single-​sex, tiny cubicle even someone as petite as me had trouble squashing into.
On a nice day, I like to take my purchases out into Piccadilly Gardens and just relax in the open air; it’s perfectly located between Piccadilly Station and the shops.

Very nice place for lunch, lovely sandwich combos and a good setting to chat eith friends and colleagues. A bit on the pricey side for that though, but still worth trying out!
This one in particular has lovely surroundings in picc gardens and is always busy!
