Not too bad for a buffet. There is a choice of Italian, Thai, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Japanese and English food(I daren’t write cuisine) and a rather large desserts section, with fresh waffles being made regularly. What I like about this place, apart from being able to stuff myself, is that allergens are labeled clearly on each dish. This place is great if you want a bit of everything, but if you want high quality cuisine, you need to go elsewhere

My family loves the food here, so whenever we travel up 200 miles from home, this is where we always eat! Unfortunately on my last visit(last Tuesday– 6pm) I was left deeply dissatisfied. The food was great, however the service was abysmal in more than one way. After being seated we waited at least 20 minutes for someone to come and take our drinks order, and yet still no one came. We had to walk up to staff and ask for our drinks order to be taken. I am quite tolerant and understanding, I know a restaurant can be a busy environment but what happened after really got to me. When asking for our drinks order to be taken the manager(he was wearing a formal shirt and a headset so I assume) silently ‘shh’d’ me. He put his finger up at me very rudely and not once did he come back to actually take the order. Our plates were not taken away until we had almost finished and we’re getting ready to leave, the spot we were seated also smelt like sick. We had a disabled member in a wheelchair with us and when asking for the bill and a card reader at the table, the same manager from before said he would bring them over, however proceeded not to at all. After waiting for some time I was forced to ask another member of staff again and finally got to pay. All in all, the food was great and I understand it can be busy and difficult to get things done in a timely manner but no one who pays as much as we ended up paying for our order wants to be waited on by rude, inconsiderate and condescending staff. If the manager is like this, no wonder the rest of the staff are also finding it difficult to keep up high standards of service. I think I’ll find alternative places to eat, if this is how red hot treat their customers.

Deserts are fantastic, a lot of food choices from Italian, India, Chinese… But the taste is not so well.

Place is filthy, walks floor, shelves! Service is slow, drinks ordered 8 mins from seated then another 20 mins to bring over a soft drink! It’s a very busy place. Food– there is lots of choice, it’s a Buffett remember it’s not a team of chefs making your food, it’s mass production though they do try with special order teriyaki and pasta bar– choose your ingredients and they’ll cook it. The chicken wings are lovely. You will always find something ! It’s great having international choices and there is quality ingredients. Puddings are nice, ice cream bar, fresh waffles /pancakes and lots of others.

Didn’t rate at all, good choice but wasn’t anything ever left to try, I would rather pay for a meal and get what I want then be over fazed with things you can’t have because they havn’t refilled the trays!

Food is decent enough, even if you do get big eyes small stomach syndrome… The reason for the review is ignorant staff and poor plate clearing times. Also doesn’t help you feel crammed in like sardines. Excelled in the dessert department though, so points for that!

Went on Friday night with a group from work. The food was delicious and a massive variety from sushi to carvery. Would have rated 4 stars as I found the desserts to be a little limited and the curried food was a bit tough. However they do have an awesome ice cream station which is worth a few extra stars on its own. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Would have been nice to have unlimited soft drinks but again not enough to put me off! Favourites from the selecton: buttered naan bread, sweet and sour chicken, crispy duck pan cakes, tropical sorbet, chicken in black bean sauce and the spare ribs. Yum!

Call me a food snob but this was just not up my street. Granted there is an awful lot of choice to choose from but it feels like there is almost too much for the staff to handle — dishes were often running low or were only mildly warm from being sat there for so long and queues were constantly forming for clean plates. Seeing duck for the Chinese duck pancakes coming out of the microwave and a lady asking me if breaded scallops were potato kind of set the tone for me. As we were a group of 18 we decided to get drinks from the bar to help bill calculations — 20 minute queue was not ideal. We were put in a great room slightly separate from the rest of the restaurant which was perfect for a group of our size, although being upstairs meant a little work out every time we went to the buffet downstairs — too much hard work for me! Just give me the food! Highlight was the apple and cinnamon crumble — absolutely delicious and wish I had just got myself £15 worth of this dessert. Great time with my friends but I don’t reckon I’ll be returning for the food in any hurry.

I tend to eat here on a cycle of approximately once every three years as I think that’s how long it takes my brain to forget the experience I most recently had. First up, when this place opened, everyone was raving about it. An all you can eat buffet for £15 where u can choose from a mix of Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, American, carvery and salad bar with a large selection of dessert. Unfortunately, and probably because they are cooking so many things on such a large scale, the quality of food is pretty poor. Don’t get me wrong, everything is always cooked through and there really is plenty of choice, everything is kept clean and sanitary, plates are well stocked, staff are pleasant enough and there is a good selection of drinks. However, the food is just not really up to scratch. A lot of the stuff is so bland or overcooked you wouldn’t be entirely sure what cuisine you were supposed to be eating anyway. In my most recent experience, the Indian stuff was ok And the sushi was ok. I tried most other things available(four plates of mains in one sitting) but would not advise anyone to go back for seconds. The desserts are awful. They either all taste the same or taste of nothing. If you want ice cream, they have a good selection but are a bit funny about letting you have certain ones. If you can clearly see an ice cream that is available, be prepared for them to tell you that flavour is now finished. I’m sure they have their reasons, just a little odd ! Overall, if you want an all you can eat thats a little different and satisfies tastes of all members of the party, or if you need to go somewhere suitable for vegetarians, then it’s a good place to go. It’s a novelty that tends to satisfies those with a hearty appetite. Just don’t be expecting anywhere near the quality of food you would get in your average restaurant. Head in with low expectations and you may even come out pleasantly surprised! See you again in three years rhwb!

My Neice wanted to here for her 16 birthday. I’ve been a few times but not for a while. But things have change for the worst. Arrived at 7. I had to go and ask someone for drinks. We says there. 20 before someone came. and 10 more mins before the drinks came. the food we had was very nice but not much if it. Later went to get some desert not much left only ice cream or trifle, what happened to the candy that you can put over your ice cream. Had a coattail call choc ale monkey. It tasted yuck. But my Neice really enjoy the food. Please enforce you try and improve your food, some of the start where very nice

A M A Z I N G!!! Heart attack on a plate but who cares!?? You can have as many plates as you want(I have been known to have 8…) Indian, Chinese, Italian, Tex mex, cute little desserts, sushi(in the evening) and nearly every drink under the sun! Definitely o there for a birthday as the staff all sing happy birthday and gather round your table– great fun. Fab for groups and always good prompt service. You are never guna wait long for a drink here! Been here at lunch and the evening and both times are great! Even when is really busy– there’s always loaads of food– the trays just keep coming!

This place has several bad reviews, but I think it’s only fair to give this place a genuine appraisal for what it is aimed at: Americans. If you want to eat as much as is feasibly possible to stuff in your face for a set amount of money, then this is the place for you. Also, this is the holy mecca of foodery after a day session on the beer, at which point the food in here is spot on. I went in here barely able to string a sentence together, and I do remember the receptionist at the bottom of the stairs speaking to me slowly as if I was hard of hearing or foreign. The food was perfect because there was lots of it and it was all greasy(at least the things I chose were), however my fiancé and mate both said it was horrific. I disagree with both of them, however I have one drunken night to rely on, a night where I fell asleep at the dinner table with my face dangerously close to the remainder of what looked like curry, something with gravy, chips and I think ice cream. I would definitely go there again, but it looks like I would have to go alone, or get everyone to the same critical level of drunkenness where grease becomes the paramount concern for everyones food choice.

This place is really isn’t up too much. Stack it high and sell it cheap really is the style here. There is lots of choice in food from Italian to Mexican, Indian, Japanese and Chinese. The problem is none of it is cooked very well. Most the chicken dishes are dry the lots of the other meat is tough and the staff don’t seem to care. They have a massive desert selection but again it isn’t up too much. The idea of an all you can eat buffet might appeal but I would go for quality over quantity every time. The drink selection is very dull and no decent beer choice. The staff were slow and not particularly interested in the customers. All in all I can say I won’t be back.

I heard of good things about this place so i decided to visit on a random Sunday. The service was standard to say the least but the worse part about the visit was only being about to experience half the food due to the other kitchens closed so we paid full price for half the experience. Well Done! I wont be visiting again

I feel so sorry to do this 2 star. But this is the reason why I cannot see any Asian dining in. It boasts itself the largest buffet in Europe? Compared with Tops/Taiwu, food collection seems poor, nevertheless the quality, am I too mean here? I just say the truth from inter feeling of my tongue. Chinese food area is totally disaster! Why? Shrimp with curry, black sauce beef, what a cute chef or food remix DJ!!! But the dessert area do serve wide choices, unexpectedly, a beautiful blonde was wondering what to choose from all these toppings on different dolce… ooh she asked me, «Do you know what is this?» I replied,” lemon pudding with unknown jam on top? have a try!:D” After that I just went to sushi area, and… she was still there wondering… How kawayi!!! So, some food without ID cards anonymous! Plus, how could they make sashimi and sushi so small? Fortunately, the service was good and quick^^, after the final £15 a person, my boyfriend asked me to cook Gamberoni when back home, desperately«okay» in cold March 2013 night with tears blowed away with the wind~~~

Red Hot World Buffet or Red Hot as I mostly refer to it is EVIL. From its Red décor to its hypnotic powers of seduction engaging your deepest glutinous urges. The body is your temple I once heard a yoga instructor say. Well this place is like that Tsunami from that Cusack disaster movie… What was it? 2012. Ya that one. This place(take my word for it) has the power to consumate easily… ob-lit-erate… your body with(Noah proportion) flood of food. way more than your body or mind can fathom. It is utterly brilliantly so bad for you that its utterly brilliantly FANTASTICRAZY! The cuisine on offer isn’t world cuisine, don’t kid yourself. There is a variety YES, but by no way does it justify the«World» tag unless your idea of «world» only has 6 countries in it.(In which case clearly Geography lessons for you constituted of daydreamery) None the less what is on offer is £15 worth of a variety of food that is actually of decent quality. Sure it isn’t Michelin star restaurant food, but what did you expect from a buffet? chop that price in half for lunch time indulgence and you have yourself a damn good deal, as well as a pouch full of food that should last you a few days. After Nawab this place is one of the best Buffet joints in Manchester, if that’s what floats your boat. If however you’re too good for Buffets and have disposable income oozing out of those bulging Boateng suit pockets walk further down to one of the more affluent joints. For the rest of you who want food that isn’t worlds apart in terms of quality and costs half the price… give Red Hot a whirl… While you’re there try the Sushi with lots of Wasabi, It is niceeeeeee(Borat voice) Be warned… it will blow your head off. No I mean it … Seriously!

Love the fact that they have so many different kinds of cuisines like Chinese, Thai, Italian, Mexican, Indian but I would not say that the quality or taste of the food is something to brag about! I will have to admit I loved their desert section and the crème Brule is absolutely delicious!!! But was definitely not impressed with those great looking Belgian waffles! Good for a visit when you don’t know what you want to eat! :)

On first appearance the place looks pretty good… Sadly when we got to eating we were highly disappointed. We tried food from all sections of the buffet and it was honestly some of the worst food I have ever tasted. All food that was on display tasted dry and had obviously been sat out for way more than the legal limit of 2 hours. Most of the food was not hot, and by the time we got to sit and eat it, was almost cold. It all tasted like it had been cooked from cheap packets of ready made mix and the chicken korma was probably some of the worst chicken I’ve ever had. We had 2 plates, the first round was consisted of appetisers that was all dried out/caked in oil and the second was of mains, none of which we could finish eating. The only thing that seemed edible was the tiny sushi, but that is just raw fish and rice after all. The staff however, were amazing. As soon as we walked in we were greeted in a warm and friendly mannor. One waitress noticed that we were not happy when she cleared our plates, went out of her way to come back and ask if everything was ok and then dealt with out complaint in a great way. After some time and a bit of confusion with the waitresses over the bill and the complaint, the duty manager finally came over and talked to us. He seemed surprised of our complaint and agreed that we would not pay the bill in return for filling out a comments card. My advice: Too many cooks spoil the broth. Cut down on the amount of dishes you serve and focus on doing one or two amazing dishes from each section and you will have people coming back for more. You should probably give your waitresses a pay rise too!
