City Tower is the tallest of the Manchester city centre office blocks. You can see it from wherever you are, in the whole world, even Timbuktu. That’s a complete lie. Home to numerous businesses, City Tower is THE place to work in the centre of Manchester. The building is a Bruntwood building, whose office space is rented by many wealthy companies in Manchester, including Crain’s Manchester Business and UKFast. Its sheek designs and modern décor make it a real pioneer in modern working. It looks like something off the TV mocking middle-class offices in this modern age! Short of people jumping around on those bouncy-ball pogo-stick things with handles, this has everything that epitomizes the postmodern workspace. All the offices have glass walls with views out across Manchester. The meeting rooms have glass walls too making then something like a Foucaultian panoptican, but also very trendy and cool. The chairs all seem to be red and comfy, and a little bit space age. My girlfriend works there and she took me up to her office, and I thought it was well cool innit! (the phone number above is the actual building number, so unless you want to rent an office, you’re probably better off looking up the individual businesses)
