Quite a picturesque hall, but when it’s full with boys, the appreciation for good looking things when good looking does not define women, go down immensely, mostly unnoticed! It’s a vicky Park hall, a little deserted hence. It has an old school touch to it and well, as mentioned before, it only adds to it’s breath-taking décor! It has all the perfect facilities for a good student lifestyle– a library, squash courts, computers and a bar. It’s pretty lively, and though many guys would sulk when offered this as their acommodation, it’s not too bad at all, though of course mixed sex is always more exciting! All in all, a good hall and has decent potential to be a popular one.

Saint Anselm Hall is one of the competitors for the pretties hall in University of Manchester student accommodation. Unfortunately, its only for lads, and lads don’t like pretty things(except pretty girls). They should really give this one to the girls, and give the lads a free pint or a football instead. Its located in Victoria park, about midway between Fallowfield and the city, and very close to the university, Saint Anselm halls has the feel of an old country manor, and also of an old town house as well. Take a look at it and you’ll see what I mean. Its got more facilities than most halls, including a library, squash courts, a compuer cluster, a bar and a common room. It boats the highest degree of student involvement, meaning that its focused on societies and sports teams and a student committee. So if you’re interested in those type of things then get involved here.
