This is a fantastic little gem of a charity shop. Hidden away off the main stretch of charity shops in Didsbury it is well worth diving down the road for a nosy in this place. Unlike other charity shops it hasn’t been made over to look like a high street shop it is an old fashioned curiosity shop that turns up cheap gems everytime I cross the threshold.

Too many charity shops try to look like high street stores these days, with ‘good as new’ instead of bric-​à-​brac and designer labels rather than dusty old vintage. However, this shop, just off Wilmslow Road in Didsbury, is still wonderfully old school!
There’s a huge amount of stuff to rummage through, all at low prices. And while the overall quality of stuff is probably a little lower than the stuff you’d find in the middle of Didsbury, you can often grab a fantastic bargain. Some of the stuff I’ve found in there lately includes a brand-​new Tara Starlet dress, vintage vanity cases and some cracking sixties hats! The staff are great too; you’ll nearly always find a friendly older lady on the till, who wants a chat!
