Starbucks is very reliable wherever you are in the world. I was able to use my Starbucks Card as well here in the UK! Dangerous. They were not used to iced Americans decaf but they are now familiar as they made it for me. Great customer service and quick line. Centrally located where I can do lots of people watching

We rarely visit a Starbucks nowadays, we prefer Costa Coffee. I did have a loyalty card for Starbucks but that seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth… and I can’t be arsed getting a new one. This particular Starbucks is the only one in Manchester I’ve been to. It also happens to be one of the busier ones on the weekend though it can rather quiet during the week. The coffee and cakes are good but are a little more expensive than Costa Coffee. Last time I came, it was on a weekend and there was a bit of a queue so they had one of the workers come round to each person to take orders. It felt rushed and I’m the sort of person who comes into a coffee shop not entirely sure what to have and likes to use the time waiting in queue to decide. And another thing I dislike about Starbucks is that they don’t have spoons, they have stirring sticks. I hate stirring sticks, they’re crap for stirring.

As far as multinational evil coffee companies go, Starbucks has great over priced coffee and food to eat in or out. Unfortunately even though its really handy and I do occasionally come here I have too much of a conscience and not enough money to warrant coming here often. Though if you like knowing that they’ll have that favourite coffee of yours wherever you go in the world you go glen coco! I do prefer NQ independent coffee shops as they are much quirkier and unique — sorry not sorry :)

This Starbucks store tends to be the busiest store in the Manchester Arndale so do prepare yourself for longer waits than the other store however they is more seating which does balance it out and make it worthwile to visit here, also this is actually a store and not just something made on part of the Arndale’s floor. I ordered a Maple Machiato, my drink tasted quite nice, much better than my drinks from the dissapointing City Labs store, it was a nice tempreature and I really did enjoy it. Credit has to go to this store for reminding me and giving me a Machiato card, where you get a free one for every 3 you buy, I have previously been to 2 other branches and bought 3 drinks and they never told me about this, which would of entitled me to the free one which really means this store deserves their rating to be highered. If you are confused which branch this is, it is below Yo Sushi and close to WHsmith, Vision Express and Next. This store has a good range of food including wraps, I ordered the new gluten free wrap, the store have no control over the taste it is just head office but honestly it was absaloutly dreadful, the wraps are normally quite nice but it was basically like eating saw dust, even a few of my friends who normally would eat anything in site if they didn’t have to pay, really hated it either. I would say this is one of the better Starbucks stores as the coffee quality was very good and the waiting time was quite good considering how busy it was, I have actually waited longer when I was the only one in the store, this store has more seating and even though my wrap was vile, I still want to give this place 4 stars.

Not the most welcoming of Starbucks venues because of its main seating are being outside within the shopping centre with a very small handful of seats inside. The staff are friendly and its always a busy little hub well located within the shopping centre. All else is the high quality standard you would expect from this chain… And don’t forget, if the drink is not how you like it, din’t moan about it, simply return it and it will be remade!

I guess i can say I’m a fan of Starbucks, you know what youre getting and its reasonably priced. This Starbucks is great for people watching due its great location at Exchange Court in the Manchester Arndale Centre.

Oh, Starbucks. You really are such a dull and uninspiring place to come and grab something to eat and a drink. The last time I was in here, I had some kind of spicy steak Panini thing and a drink. When I finally got the panini it was flat as anything, partly because it was a panini and partly because it had hardly any steak in it. The whole deal cost me about a fiver, and if I’d just walked five minutes to the Northern Quarter I could have got something way better for a very similar price for sure. The tables are rarely wiped, so chances are you’ll be eating your food and drinking your drink in the remnants of other people’s sticky mess. Yum.

Starbucks inside the Arndale, another place I would go after my tired feet are too tired to walk around. Sit there and enjoy the sips from my iced coffee! Nothing feels better than that ! It’s carefully and very smartly laid out on a right spot with all the major brands surrounding it. So people are bound to stop here for a drink whether they like it or not. Also they do some really great pasta salads espcially the tomato and basil with chicken and celerey! Yumm! I know some people don’t like coffee chains, but starbucks is going to be loved by me for a really long time!

Awh Man! Still not sure as to what makes this one so terrible, aside from it being a Starbucks, but c’mon! there are so many of them for a reason! By and large they are good! And all this crap about ooooh i find their drinks too milky… balls, get an extra shot in it, or stop ordering a latte. Simple! Realistically, how many of us pick independent places to eat or drink at in a shopping centre. Wait how many indie places could afford the rental prices in the Arndale for starters. So I’m glad it’s there, because it means I don’t have to nip out the front and head up to the one near Debenhams, or drop down and get one near Vicky train station, or anywhere else for that matter. And whilst I realise there is such a thing as overkill, taking it down the individual branch, and this one isn’t a terrible branch. It’s busy, cos duh, where is it? But there’s a knack in maintaining a busy shift and getting a decent brew out. Usual base of beverages and snacks and sarnies. Slightly exposed in the location department, and if it’s weekend, don’t expect to put your feet up, it’s a bit on the busy side.
