Thursday was a mammoth meeting day and whilst wandering through town I managed to find myself down by the Corn Exchange and wondering where I should go for a quick bite. Obvs there’s the new kids on the block like Wahaca and Phở here but I thought I’d go to an old favourite that I hadn’t been to for about 5 years to see what it was like after its makeover. On the whole it was a pleasant experience — the décor has had a revamp and it’s a cool place to hang out in — the staff were friendly and I thought were very helpful. Overall I just had a few quick bites — the chicken satay and tom yum soup being especially nice and had a good fire to it! The gyoza wasn’t bad but I’ve had better — just something about the taste wasn’t quite right, the ones at YuZu are much nicer. For a chain(and a small one, having started in Manchester) — they do a good job, I’d happily go here and explore their menu in more detail.
