Tucked away from the main shopping streets of Chorlton this place is worth walking to. A tiny little café with about 4 tables it’s what I call bijoux if I’m feeling a bit pretentious. This place is not pretentious I hasten to add! The owner and waitress were delightful. The owner seems to be multi talented as he painted the tree mural on the wall, does DIY for poorly friends, and makes delicious cakes. He also managed to be very hospitable when my friend and I showed up at closing time. Probably more than I would be. My friend had an orange and poppy seed cake that was moist and delicious. She had a cappuccino while I had a hot chocolate. I also had a chocolate chip cookie that was nice but not nearly as good as the cake sat in front of my friend. I will definitely return for cake and the friendly atmosphere.
