Nice surroundings, good service and good(but not amazing) food. This place can also get a bit manic in the early evening as it seems to be very popular with families — pop you head in; if you don’t mind screaming kids(or have your own) then head on in… but it’s worth having a backup plan. I do really like this place; but more just for the general surroundings; and it’s also one of the better restaurants at that end of Didsbury. The sharing platters are a good choice for starters, as for mains, I do find that many of them are very similar in terms of cream-based sauces on pasta(just check the menu) and the crab linguini that I had was a little bland. — If you like things a little spicier, its worth asking for a little extra chilli as all that cream tends to kill the heat.
