Croft Wingates

This is part of the Washington Green group or it’s equivalent so what you will find here is art you will find on any high street up and down the UK. Mass produced art for the masses. However, for the masses with money. The art is not cheap here but it is in large print runs. THe gallery is very efficient with very pleasant sales staff. It’s very close to St Mary’s Place with parking (paid) outside. They run an efficient mailing list system and will keep you up to date.

A small gallery in the town, conveniently placed next to a car park. I find myself drifting in here every now and again and wishing that I could afford some of the amazing prints and originals there. They had a John Horsewell original there recently that was beautiful! They have a big range for a small gallery and the two ladies there are extremely helpful. If you are looking for work by an artist that they haven’t got, they make a note and let you know if they do get it in. They also run a mailing list system to keep you up to date with what’s new. They have regular events too and you can come and meet an artist.
