Goodbody’s is still a fantastic place to eat — I still go there for the vegan burgers(they do all sorts of burgers, there’s plenty to choose from). And they’re brilliant! You get some salad and some crisps on the plate with your burger, and it’s extremely filling. Whether want a quick bite to eat, a take-away sandwich, just some tea or a full meal, it’s great for everything. Take-away tends to be just salads and sandwiches etc. but you can get burgers, jacket potatoes, paninis etc. if you sit in the café. The waiters are all friendly and professional, but it also has a cosy café feel to the place. It can get quite busy around lunch time so, unless you’re grabbing take-away, expect to spend some time there. You never feel like you’re being rushed to finish your food though, it’s all very relaxed.

This is a busy café in Albert Street, about 5 minutes away from the Railway station. Jackets, sandwiches and salads are the order of the day, with a better-than-average vegetarian selection. I had bacon and brie in a granary bap with salad, which I really enjoyed — in particular, the bap was really fresh with that yummy bakery smell.
