Went there for brunch the other day and had the Mexican Breakfast. Basically it was two poached eggs (could have been scrambled or fried) over a tortilla with melted cheese, salsa, beans, corn and what tasted like pepperoni, but was probably supposed to be chorizo. There were also a couple of small bits of avocado on top. Not bad, but not very filling. A bit on the expensive side at 8.95 GBP.

I was sorely disappointed with Giraffe. Having often walked by it while at the shopping centre, and liking the look of the menu. Our server was horrible, got our order all wrong, had no sense of professionalism (when your customers are talking to each other why on earth would you SIT down at their table to take their order??). To top it all off gratuity was added onto our bill. After coming home I emailed the head office to complain and got a rather curt email with next to no apology. I will definitely never step foot in this restaurant again.

Not impressed with this place. I’ve been to a few of their branches before, but the service in this one was lousy. The waitress took ages to get to us, got most of the order wrong, and then the service charge was added automatically, without giving us the chance to decide whether or not we wanted to tip her for the terrible service she had given us. That strikes me as arrogant, and even though the food was pretty decent (although expensive), it annoyed me so much that we won’t be visiting again.

Giraffe is a fairly new restaurant in Milton Keynes Shopping Centre, it is in a good location in the centre which makes it extremely popular with shoppers. There can be queues at peak times such as weekends and Thursday evenings when the centre is open for late night shopping. The staff are very friendly, they appear to be ultra-​cool and hip, trying to give it a laid back feel. The food is excellent though and even basics such as a burger and fries are extremely tasty and not just ordinary like many other competitors offerings. The prices are not too bad, I would highly recommend going here after a busy shopping session for a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price.
