The GLO bookshop is where my mum goes when someone is ill, dies or has a baby from her church; they sell a lot of cards for loads of occasions.
As well as cards, they sell stationary and children’s books, DVDs and of course bibles.
Not forgetting the books! This is a bookshop after all, and they have plenty of those. Ranging from journals to pamphlets, to comprehensive books studying the bible, you can find everything you want here if that is your thing.
They also have quite a big Christian music selection, including DVDs and song books.
The little café that adjoins the shop is nice and peaceful, and does some cracking soup. The staff in both could not be more welcoming or helpful.

Situated next to Tilsley College and GLO Coffee Shop, the bookshop is a well stocked shop with a good variety of Everything from Childrens’ books to Reference books for Pastors. Gifts, Music CDs cards and other items are also available for sale. If something is not in stock there is the option of it being ordered in and they will call when it arrives. Staff are friendly, though sometimes voluntary staff aren’t always knowledgeable of what stock is available. Stock is discounted from time to time and discounts can be worthwhile. They also supply church bookstalls which can take away the need for a trip into Glasgow.
