Zio Restaurant

This is a smart and stylish restaurant. Well lit and air conditioned but the music is a bit load. The usual pizza & pasta but there are steaks too, garlic bread-​pizza size, calamari & a steak with a beer for £30; not bad. Presentation was excellent and well cooked with reasonable portions. I have to say the recommendation of filet Rossini was a good one, very nice. All in all better than I expected when I left the hotel, well done hence 4 stars.

First time coming in here, wow had to say the food was to my standard, extremely friendly staff, well mannered and extremely polite, will definitely be coming again, just shame about the taxi service employed there, put a damper to the night when taxi driver tried to overcharge me

Living close, you could wonder why I haven’t been before, after visiting for a family occasion (any excuse to go out type do), I can say it was very nice.
So much so we went again two days later so making this a double review I guess.
The staff were very friendly and seemed to genuinely care that you enjoyed the meal (The number of places I visit where they just seem to wait for the time to call at the table and tick the box, yep! done that), here all the staff were genuine.
A good look at the menu gave a very nice choice of flavours, their was a specials slip for the fresh seafood dish’s of the day (I had a superb Halibut and king prawn dish on the second visit)
We all had a starter and main, all very well liked, I had a king prawn starter and tried one of the others calamari (as you do), both perfect.
For my main I just had to try the Fillet Rossini as suggested below, my conclusion is, well he’s absolutely correct it’s excellent!
We will be visiting again, they also offer the menu as a take away option, so we are going to try that as well.

Zio’s is a special place to my wife and I. I know it sounds boring but we always come here for special occasions, and for those times when we have a bit of spare money to get out.
The staff and food at Zio are fabulous. They have consistently gone out of their way to provide friendly and excellent service and food. There have been a couple of occasions where things weren’t perfect, but the way that these faults were handled were more than outstanding, and we heartily recommend Zios to anyone who loves Italian food, and great service.
Highly recommend the Fillet Rossini! Yummmmm!
