The best Fish and Chip shop in Newbury! Absolutely fantastic. Also for the Northerner in me, some quality gravy and curry sauce when needed. Can’t beet this place in the area for fish and chips.

Best. Fish and Chips. Ever.
A local brought us here during my trip through England, he said this was the best place for Fish & Chips — — and he was right, they did not disappoint. Large halibut fillets w/​fries, wrapped in newspaper, toss a little red wine vinegar (Americans prefer tartar but I’m all about the vinegar) and you’re good to go.
We went here twice over 4 days, because after the 1st visit we were craving it again. I even had Fish and Chips in London a few days later — — it fell way short compared to what I got here.
