Asda Stores

A fairly large store with just about everything you could ever need. Shelves are always restocked and has all your standard asda prices and offers available. The staff are friendly and always helpful and the store itself is always clean and tidy.

Great to be able to buy a wide range of goods 24 hours a day.
Prices seem reasonable for most items.
Not a massive choice in the Electrical Department (the nearby Tesco at Kingston Park would be a better bet for that.)
Always ample parking.

A large branch of Asda conveniently situation near the High Street and within walking distance of a number of estates. They have a good range of products including clothing and entertainment section and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The downside is that the shelves are often understocked and often if an item is on promotion, there will be none on the shelves. The fruit and veg section is often understocked. There are also often long queues at the checkouts. There is a very nice café with excellent low prices although when the kids come in their lunchtime it is very busy.

Located in Gosforth this store is convenient for workers as it is next to a large office complex as well as a High School. (Avoid lunchtimes though as hoardes of school kids go there for their lunch). LArge car park and also close to Metro station. NIce clean and bright store stocking wide variety of items.

This ASDA branch is conveniently located near Regent Centre in Gosforth. This ASDA branch got good value stuffs. However, as most shops, they have got expensive things as well compared to Tesco or Morrison. you have to shop around to get bargains. Do not shop all your household stuffs in one supermarket. The customer service is good. However, there is one lady who is a bit nasty there. The price of fruits and vegetables there are dear I think. The price of its DIY stuffs are good value, sometimes they sell DIY stuff for 1 pound. The clothing is also good value. Parking is alright as well.

Asda Gosforth is good price and always have what I wanted except fruit and vegetable because they have just small store for fruit and vegetable. I found high chair from graco just cost me £ 20 on boots cost £ 40 it is good bargain even car seat also just £ 20 and cost £ 45 on boots. They have photo processing too and also instore pharmacy. Cheap for cloths I just buy some cloths cost me £ 1 and if you go there on boxing day until new year day you can find plenty stuff bargain like swimming wear just cost 50p for underware and for top £ 1.

This Asda store is located near the centre of Gosforth opposite Regent Centre Metro and Gosforth High School. The store is just down from Gosforth High Street and easy to access by metro, bus or car. The store is extremely large and is now open for 24 hours a day. It has all the usual sections of an Asda supermarket and also has great bargains in the electronics, clothing and entertainment departments. Another reviewer commented that there is no pharmacy counter, this is incorrect and there is a large pharmacy counter at this store. There is also an Asda café which is very reasonably priced. All in all an excellent supermarket, really great to go late night and pick up the reduced bargains.

The only advantage of this store is that it is open twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. It is not very far from the city centre, because you can catch the metro and be there within about twenty minutes. If you want a mega-​sized supermarket then this is the one closest to town centre.
It has little variety of products. Mostly just own brands. In the evening especially, you wil find it difficult to get around the store because most passages will be blocked with piles of boxes and carts.
Asda, being a generally fairly good value chain, usually is full of good offers. This particular store just feels more pricey, possibly for the lack of choice.
