Raj Tandoori Restaurant

Blah. Should never had gone here. Nobody inside on a week night at dinner time should have told me. The prawn chaat had no prawns I could detect. The mango lassi was not orange colored but white and without mango flavor. I think they forgot to add it. The chicken korma had a sweet, grainy texture and had a baby food consistency to it. Was not good and was not how korma usually tastes. The service seemed good and the place was clean but the food was the first time I ever had Indian food that I thought was lousy. And being in the UK, that struck me as odd since the UK is typically such a good place to get a curry. Our group of three thought it sucked but oh well, nobody got sick. I would not suggest going here.

I visited with 6 other people celebrating a birthday. The food was good when it finally arrived. We waited ages for our starter then over an hour for our main meal. People who were seated half an hour after us were being served their meals while we waited with no explanation or apology. The staff seemed very miserable while the owner just stood silent and paced the room. Safe to say I will not be visiting here again.
