Royal Victoria Infirmary

Attended here for a few outpatient hospital appointments over the last couple of years and while the waiting times in most clinics are excessive++ the RVI is a pretty good hospital.
It can be difficult to navigate around if you’re not familiar with the set up but staff are always more than happy to direct anyone wandering around looking lost.
In the New Victoria Wing you have a selection of places to eat including a Costa Coffee and Subway but the prices are canny expensive. The building is light and airy almost resembling an airport in my opinion so not a bad place for visitors to wait. Quite a contrast to Leazes Wing which is a tad stuffy but again it’s the staff and quality of care that really matter and that appears to be top notch!
