As noted in the previous review, Peppy’s has now become Vincenzo’s. The air is that of a modern Italian restaurant without too much of the false Trattoria feel you often find. We were a party of 11 and the service was attentive but not too rushed as they recognised this was large group who were out to enjoy each other’s company over a long meal. The menu was traditional Italian cuisine pasta, pizza, fish and beef. The menu, while not extensive, covered all the major dishes and within our group we tried everything from beef cheeks, to spaghetti Bolognese to pizza. Vegetarians are well catered for with a separate veggie menu with a good variety of options. The food in general was excellent. Rich flavours, freshly cooked and nicely presented. Prices were reasonable at £11 per head for drinks, a few starters and main courses all round. All in all, nice relaxing place to eat with friendly staff.
